Restaurant association renews Sweeney's contract

Boards of directors approves five-year extension for CEO Sweeney The National Restaurant Association recently announced that its board of directors extended the contract of CEO Dawn Sweeney by another five years, beginning in January 2015. She joined the $71 million-revenue association in 2007. She previously was president and CEO of AARP Services, the taxable subsidiary of AARP, and held executive positions at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and International Dairy Foods Association.
